There aren’t many hi-fi products that can be termed truly ‘iconic’ but one of them must surely be a certain turntable that’s manufactured in Glasgow.
The Linn Sondek LP12 is famed the world over, has recently celebrated its 40th birthday and just gets better and better.
However, the legendary record player is not the only great product in the Linn repertoire.
We now have a superb range of the world’s finest digital network players, the Linn DS and DSM’s
Finally, we get to Linn’s latest technologies – Exakt and Space Optimisation.
These developments bring you even closer to the music than ever before and allow your Linn system to fully integrate into your home.
Ranging in performance level from Majik to Akurate and finishing with Klimax, all you have to do is ‘Just Listen’
Sonata currently has a Majik system and an Akurate ‘Exakt’ system on demonstration.
Our LP12 will also be here soon.
We’re really exited about presenting our first Linn Lounge at Christchurch Court.
A very special evening will showcase the incredible career of one of Britain’s most creative musicians – David Bowie.
We will be playing tracks in Studio Master quality on our Linn Exakt system.
The event is free but tickets are very limited, so please book early to avoid any disappointment.
We look forward to seeing you on March 11th.

The new Melco Audio range is superb. State-of-the-art devices that make the storage, downloading an playback of your music files, oh so simple and intuative.

With typical high quality audio build and design, the Melco’s are backed by the might of the Japanese Buffalo corporation – famed for their excellent hard-drive technology.

Finally, thanks to a direct connection to your streamer, they sound fantastic too !

It’s that time of year again and we’re gearing up for another Xmas Independent Label Market at Spitalfields.
We’ll be there on Saturday, 29th November with Rega and a stall full of lovely turntables.
To bring a bit of festive cheer, we’ll be giving away some prizes from Loose Records, Gearbox Records and Rega in our free to enter draw – just visit our stall, complete an entry form and put it in the Sonata Box.
With over 26,000 people at last year’s event and the popularity of vinyl on the increase, we expect an even busier ILM in 2014.
So, make sure you pop by to say ‘hello’ and have a warming glass of mulled wine to keep you going.
