When done properly, you can’t beat a good step-up transformer with a great MC cartridge. The only trouble being, there ain’t a lot of good step-ups out there (let alone great ones !) Well, never fear Dynavector is here and this transformer is definitely a great one ! The SUP-200 is a class act, supreme… Read more »

The lovely 20X2 is quite a bargain, think of it as a ‘baby’ XX2 rather than an improved 10X5. The big change is the move to a solid Aluminium body which provides the cartridge assembly with a much more rigid platform to work with. A musical gem. The 17D3 is quite literally a jewel of a cartridge utilising a precious 1.7mm diamond cantilever. The music that this beauty creates is gripping. Fast and dynamic with great presence, just like the real thing. A compelling choice of pick-up for the wonderful Well Tempered turntables and a few others that Sonata… Read more »

A classic cartridge that has been with us since 1978 and is now in its fifth revision. Exquisitely made (like all Dynavectors) the 10X5 is the company’s entry model and is also a high output moving coil design. It’s a perfect upgrade for those vinyl addicts who are moving up from a moving magnet design… Read more »
