The lovely 20X2 is quite a bargain, think of it as a ‘baby’ XX2 rather than an improved 10X5. The big change is the move to a solid Aluminium body which provides the cartridge assembly with a much more rigid platform to work with. However, my favourite bit about the 20X is that you can… Read more »

Simply the finest transducers that Dynavector can make and therefore (as the lager commercial goes) probably the best cartridges in the world. The XV-1t flips the whole turntable/arm/cartridge thing on its head when bolted to a Well Tempered GTA(a) If you really must have the ultimate then this is it, go ahead and enjoy !

From the maori, meaning discovery and boy does it live up to its name. The Te Kiatora Rua (meaning second version) is the spectacular result of some collaboration between Japan and New Zealand (home of the amazing DV electronics) Mechanically strong due to its titanium body and musically solid this Dynavector is another sweet and… Read more »

There’s a surprising amount of Dynavector technology and superior materials in the XX2 but thanks to the skill of the engineers in Tokyo it manifests itself in a glorious musical performance. The XX2 is a bargain at this level of reproduction and your investment is secure in the standard of build quality that other manufacturers… Read more »

A musical gem. The 17D3 is quite literally a jewel of a cartridge utilising a precious 1.7mm diamond cantilever. The music that this beauty creates is gripping. Fast and dynamic with great presence, just like the real thing. A compelling choice of pick-up for the wonderful Well Tempered turntables and a few others that Sonata… Read more »

A classic cartridge that has been with us since 1978 and is now in its fifth revision. Exquisitely made (like all Dynavectors) the 10X5 is the company’s entry model and is also a high output moving coil design. It’s a perfect upgrade for those vinyl addicts who are moving up from a moving magnet design… Read more »

Rega’s flagship cartridge and a very innovative design. This little gem is Rega’s first moving coil model and it uses some unique solutions to the intricate problems of MC cartridges. Typically Rega in it’s approach to the mechanics of record playing and typically Rega in it’s reproduction of the musical event. Mesmerising on a P9.

What a thrilling cartridge this is. The Exact takes Rega’s moving magnet designs to new heights. This model uses a very specialised stylus profile compared to the other Rega cartridges and this simply allows the Exact to dig out more music from the grooves. A great partner for the terrific P7 turntable.

My personal favourite in the music per pound stakes. This blue beauty introduces us to Rega’s 3 point fixing system, which noticeably improves the mechanical integrity of the arm and cartridge bond and noticeably improves the musical integrity of the sound. A must have purchase with a new RP3.

A great way to enter the wonderful world of vinyl, the obvious match for any Rega turntable (or those that use a Rega tonearm). Hand built in the UK. Great sound, great value. Factory fitted on the RP1 when ordered with the Performance pack.
